The IKAR temporary horizontal lifeline system is a tested and certified personal protective equipment against falling which is used in combination with IKAR height safety devices according to EN 360 or shock absorbing lanyards according to EN 355. The temporary lifeline systems are used to protect workers operating in the horizontal plane who may not have continuous access to suitable Anchorage Points. The HLL is equipped with an integrated switchable reverse lock, which facilitates the pretension of the lifeline system. The innovative tension indicator shows the user when the correct preload force is reached. A person who felt into the system can be lowered a maximum of 2 m.

The IKAR descent device ABS 3a WH with integrated tension indicator is tested and certified as a temporary horizontal lifeline system which is used as personal protective equipment against falling in combination with IKAR height safety according to EN 360 or fasteners with shock absorber according to EN 355. The temporary lifeline systems are used to protect workers operating in the horizontal plane who may not have continuous access to suitable Anchorage Points. An integrated switchable reverse allows an easy pretension of the lifeline system. The innovative tension indicator shows the user when the correct preload force is reached. In addition, the IKAR HAL system presents itself as a descent device with hoisting facility. A person who has fallen into the system can be lowered a maximum of 100 m.

Carriage for Personal Fall Protection Devices

Certified as mobile anchorage device for personal safety devices in accordance with EN 795:2012 Type B

 

The IKAR carriage is a mobile anchorage point for securing one person to an existing construction. The existing construction should be able to withstand the forces in the direction of the load which arise in case of a fall (compliant with EN 795 verification by the technical construction regulations).
